I am now in my 11th week of pregnancy and Baby B is supposedly now the size of a fig, about 1.5 inches long! This week, Baby B will soon start making fists by opening and closing his/her digits. Also, tiny tooth buds begin to appear under the gums and some bones are beginning to harden. Baby B is moving quite frequently... still kicking and stretching... and I still can't feel a thing. Guess I'll start to feel movement when Baby B gets a little bigger (maybe in a month or two). Also, when we saw Baby B move during the ultrasound and I thought it might be a hick-up or two... I suppose I could have been on the right track because the diaphragm is forming and hick-ups become a frequent occurrence.
In other news, my hubby is cooking up a batch of my grandmother's delicious beef stew. The aroma is wafting up the stairs, and I think I'm beginning to drool all over myself. Can't wait to dig in tonight! Thanks Granny (Fields) for sharing such a tasty (and easy-to-make) treat!
