Whomp, Whomp, Whomp... Heard Baby B's heartbeat for the very first time today! WOW! So amazing! It's very cool what we can do with technology now-a-days. Baby's heartbeat was one of the most precious sounds I've ever heard in my life! Today our baby's heart was beating 160 times per minute.
Matt and I had our first official doctor's appointment today. That's when we were able to hear our baby's precious heartbeat. The doc performed an exam and took our family history. Said everything looks great and we're right on track. He is also pleased that I have gained about 5 pounds so far! The only not so good thing about this visit: Ugly mask of pregnancy raised it's ugly head. Hello hemorrhoids. Doc said, "Welcome to pregnancy, you now wear the official badge." Gosh, that is so embarrassing! Part of life I guess. [Want to try to keep these postings accurate, therefore, the not so pretty stuff goes in too.] We'll go back in a month for visit number two.
